Mastermind Mission
The Soul of Autism Mastermind is a unique model of support for families, caretakers professionals and concerned citizens to participate in problem solving todays needs and challenges in the home, school, community, etc. Schools and therapies function on monthly, quarterly and annual goals. But, families and caretakers face challenges every day, throughout the day. No one person or program have all the answers. However, as a Mastermind community we can all bring to the table our day to day challenges and problem solve together solutions and support throughout the week. We will meet once a week to problem solve the immediate meeds of our members and Michelle will coordinate a monthly training for the members.

I first came to the mastermind to help our twin daughter with her spending. I wanted to seek help in finding ways to help curve her spending habits. I was able to find ways to at least minimize how often she spends money. We have her down to once a month and she must earn the money by doing choirs around the house. This group also helped her twin sister cope with her getting married and moving on without her and received a tremendous amount of help.
Then when it came time for the twin who was now facing life without her sister always being here to have her big transformation, these ladies were there every step of the way. This group of women that I have come to know, has helped me navigate adulthood for our twin girls. Michelle has done a wonderful job getting this group off the ground. I highly recommend this group to any families who have neurodivergent children/adults. Someone always comes up with suggestions to try and help another family in the moment that they need the help. For myself, I feel blessed to call these wonderful people friends. It’s a safe place to talk about anything. There is no judgment in this group.

I am happy to be part of the Soul of Autism Mastermind! It has helped tremendously with my nephew. Michelle and the group provide a lot of insight and support that has helped me work with my nephew. It has given me a better understanding, patience and hope. The group is like a big hug, warm hug every time we meet.

The Soul of Autism Mastermind has opened up my eyes and given me a positive outlook concerning my son's future as he journeys through life with autism. As a parent, I’ve been clueless. Thrown into the diagnosis without a ground to stand on. Lost and confused, until I found the group. Weekly discussions about our battles with autism's many faces has helped me realize there are other ways to go about getting the needed services for my son. Every caregiver in attendance are in different stages of the process and each adds invaluable advice that I would have never received if going about it alone. Michelle has been an effective facilitator, mentor, and teacher in helping me understand that my son deserves more and that I need to fight for him. Her care and understanding has given me the strength to be my son's voice and to ensure he does not slip through the system. This group has been an integral part of my life.
